Hi, I'm Kristina A. Mercado.

My journey to cinema wasn't a straight line. It actually started with stickers—a fun business, but one where I struggled to find my spark. That changed the moment I pivoted to film.

The contrast between the lull of 2022 and the explosion of 2023 was stark. I dove headfirst into the industry, working on eight film projects in a single year. Somewhere in that chaos, I found my footing, and more importantly, I found my creative counterpart, Cassidy Tee.

What started as working on a few projects together has turned into an inseparable partnership. Seeing Cassidy's talent firsthand expanded my love for cinema; it became about more than just my own success—it became about our success and the future of Tied On Topic.

We have accomplished more in these early years than I dared to imagine, but I’m still learning to dream bigger. I live by the mindset: "We're almost there and nowhere near it, all that matters is we're going."
